Which Service?

While New Beginnings and MissionPathways have similar intents, the two resources are very different.  While Hope Partnership can help you identify which is a better fit for your church, here are a few differences and similarities between the two resources:

MissionPathways Tier One New Beginnings Assessment Service
On-site visit to assess congregational resources (facility, location, financial and human resources)

Assessment report outlining resources available for mission

In-depth context analysis report (demographics) with ideas for ministry

Easy-to-follow curriculum for understanding the reports and leading church-wide discussion about future mission

Opportunity and guidance for church participants to conduct their own research about local mission possibilities

Suggested Future Story possibilities to help the congregation see its future impact

Guided process so the church can create its own Future Story for ministry

A directed, consensus-building process for leading the congregation to make a decision about its property, location and future

A more open-ended process of community exploration and creative visioning

Do you hear people in your church saying these things?

If so, then contact us about one of these services.

MissionPathways Tier One New Beginnings Assessment Service
Over the past 5-10 years, our church has experienced decline in people and/or finances.

Our church is growing or has plateaued and we seek to move our church “from good to great.”

Our church facility is in need of repair and we don’t have the money to fix it.

Our leaders are worn out; the same people are doing the same jobs every year.

Our church is healthy, but could use an “outside set of eyes” to help us see ministry possibilities in our community.

Our church has a lot of creativity and energy.  We are looking for new ways to serve God.

Our church has discussed selling our building, but we don’t know what we should do.

Some people have suggested we should close our doors, but we can’t agree on what to do.

Our church has recently paid off a mortgage and we are looking to start the next chapter in our ministry.

Our pastor has recently resigned/retired and we may not have enough money to pay what we should for a new pastor.

The neighborhood around our church has changed in the last 20 years and we don’t know how to relate to these new people.

Our church is looking for creative, new ways to bless the lives of people living near our church.
